Stamina Gloria et Patria
Mobile DJ Booth, Whitney Biennial, New York, March 2008

Chrome pipes, stainless steel mirror, plywood, black paint, alarm light, disco ball, DJ equipment

This mobile DJ booth was designed and built for the one week long Stamina Gloria et Patria dance marathon during the Whitney Biennial organized by the artist Agathe Snow. It was altered by Agathe over the course of the week resulting in a collaborative sculpture. The polished stainless steel reflects the ornamental surrounding space at the Park Avenue Armory Building and the dancers. The table is height adjustable by changing the angle of the four poles. These angled poles also make the booth appear like it is dancing itself.
